Wait a minute, there I don't see which rights they are violating.
They are taking their right to shit in the ally or some business's doorstep?
I do have to agree with Vi assertion that a lot of the Homeless peoples need to be put in a mental hospital to in order to help these people.
But I do think that the ACLU is a necessary evil, who else will be there to protect the civil rights of the citizens of this country.
Like I said before, the ACLU takes on cases which they shouldn't, such as Protecting the rights of organizations such as NAMBLA, Removing all vestages of religious symbles from public. But you can not throw the baby out with the bath water.
A lot of what I say may be construed as be being left wing, But if you were to look into a lot of my political leanings, I am more towards the center.
The Left leaning I do have are for what is going to bebefit the people.
I do not think we should have amnesty for Illegal immigrants, I do not buy into the environmental bullshit that a lot of lefties would lead you to believe, personally I beleive that Global Warming is as cyclic weather pettern and there is evedence to support that. I believe that we should be drilling for oil in the Artic National Wild Life Reserve, we need to get off of the Middle Eastern dope.
You see it is a matter of perspective.

So you missed the whole point. The government rounding up citizens with a label, "homeless", "crazy", "pot smokers", "Drunks"," "Democrats", "communists", "Republicans", Put a lable on them and just round them up to suit the rulers in power. Are you fucking Nuts? Is your first name Adolph? I thought you were all about freedom, what you really meant was "Your" freedom and fuck anybody not like you!

We have a homeless problem. The homeless are for the most part ill. Where is your compassion Med? You just want to leave them out there on the street to die of their illnesses? Next thing we know, you'd want to construct ovens. I bet you would be the one to pour Zyklon-B down the shower tubes too.
My simple approach would be to construct facilities for them ... even convert unused military bases for their rehabilitaiton. A much more compassionate solution than you have by far.

I have to speak up here and say that we definitely have failed to provide basic care to the mentally ill of this country. Prison has become the new mental hospitals and they are simply warehousing them, not really treating them. It's a travesty....most of these people belong in group homes with supervision. We simply refuse to deal with it or provide the funding.
