Does anyone know what the requirements are to work at one? I am assuming that taking the courses at Oaksterdam would certainly help and look good on your resume.

Also what is the average wage?

the wages are probably greed.

imho, from what i have heard from dispensary customers, they sell shit at the same price as the street here - which is crazy. it's burglary. I just dont see how a legal dispensary cant get by selling it lower than dealers doing it illegally.

?

I am just talking about the average wage of an employee that sells behind the counter. Not the owner of the dispensary.
I would also liek to know if there are any pre requisites needed?

after watching a documentary on the dispensaries, from what i gathered, most of them are owned and ran by a group of people who know each other like white on rice. they wont allow some hillbilly to just jump in for the ride lol..you gotta be part of their clan per say

There our those dispensaries that provide a large range of programs that the state cant or wont afford. Then there are those that are for profit only.Let not put them all into one bag.a proper dispensary would be ran just as a business, paying wages ,taxes, insurance, rent, utilities, phone, janitorial,AND THE LIST GOES ON.:hump:

I read an article in the LA times with some dude that had a few clinics here in LA and he payed his clerks $20 an hour plus a free gram a day or something like that.

Not sure what the requirements are to actually getting hired there are though. I will try and ask around today when I go get my clones.

No, I'm Not Kidding.

"Compassion Centres"

whatever you want to call them, should be NON-PROFIT.

But they're no better than dealers in states where it's illegal.

"rent, utilities..etc" = EXCUSE

That's all over and well paid for long before 50$ a fucking 8th.

Usually $10-15hr, I had the opportunity to work at one part-time but decided not to because of the robberies and murders that have occurred at southern California dispensaries. It must be a chill job with easy money but for me it's not worth risking my life.

We tried the Coop and no one wanted the responsibilities or overhead to start.
