wondering what this is,

i was gone for about a week so they grew pretty close to the small CFL i left them on, but the aqua globe also ran out of water. wondering which it is and what i should do to fix it??

about 3 weeks, it was under a 75 watt cfl, watering with just regular water that i keep sitting out for a few days to get rid of whatever it is in it people say to do that to get rid of. now that i'm home i switched it to a 150 watt hps, i didnt wanna leave that on when i was gonna be gone for a week it might have lit it on fire or something if it got too close haha
