Wondering if plant pulled early will still have potency?

I had to pull a VERY SKUNKY girl who could have easily gone another 3-4 weeks. The odor was just too strong.

She was almost oily, and the seeds that formed are a dark brown. I'm almost afraid to fire one up when she dries. Will she still give a good smoke, or would it be mediocre? Does a strong smell equate to a strong high?

Seeds?

I have had herb that smelled awesome but not very potent in the past. You know its going to stink way more when you dry and cure.

The odor has subsided for the most part (they've been drying for a couple days - until I mix them up lol....
She was pollinated early on in her flowering, and I was surprised to see how far the seeds have matured - and I have never seen seeds so dark before. And the buds stick to my fingers.

The only thing that effects potency is amount of trichomes and maturity of trichomes. I had a few skunky smelling plants but hardly had any trich production and they weren't that great. Harvesting at the right time is key.

You would probably still get a nice head buzz, but it wouldn't last very long and definitely wouldn't be near peak potency.

Thanks for the replies. It's been dried and sampled and I must say this plant sure is potent for being pulled so early. I open the jar and all you can smell is skunk. It sticks to my fingers and I dont even have to lick the rolling paper ;) Luckily I have a lot of seeds for when I don't have to worry about the odor!
