Wondering if my plant is male or female? and how can you tell

I ordered some feminized Himalayan Gold seeds and planted one. It's about 7in tall and it is about 3.5 months old. I'm new to this stuff and I'm wondering if it is really small because it's a male or what... How can you tell if it is a female? It's an indoor plant also. I'm growing it in Miracle Grow Moisture Control Potting Mix. thanks!!Photo11022004_1.jpgPhoto11022004_1.jpg

Something must be wrong if that plant is that old? - it could be a monster in that time. It's early to tell if it's a male or female. I wrote an article here: males and females

dude seriously 3 months , lol,
how many weeks \ months went past before you thought to yourself, "this is growing a bit slow", ?
at this rate, that plant will be ready in 2013
good luck :)

It will only flower when the lights are turned to 12/12
It looks 3 weeks old, so if it is three months then something is very wrong. after a few weeks you need to feed it, get some nutrients.
It is embarrassingly small. Not something you want to hear about anything you have...
Looks healthy though, get some better lights, 'fluorescent' is kinda vague.
If you don't want to spend any money or grow anything good, at least go on ebay and get a 130W CFL for like 50 bucks?

Seems like LEDs to me, and nice to have Mylar rather than tin foil. Good job.

It needs to flower first, so if you haven't already switched to 12/12 then now is the time. Either way, with closer pictures we should be able to determine the sex about a week or two after the switch to 12/12. Got any closer pics of where the leaves join the main stalk?

Thanks everyone for the help. And sorry, I can't get close pictures because I don't have a camera and my phone sucks. Thanks again!

Means that the roots have gotten too big for the pot they're in. It will slow/stop growth.
The plant looks too small atm for that to be an issue.
