Don't even get me started. I'm happy to see our first african american president. Not happy about his political views but hey, we can't have everything right? Hopefully she doesn't represent everybody in her economic situation. I wonder why she doesn't have a job. She looked healthy. I assume she has a computer and internet. I assume she has a video camera too (I just recently bought my first one). Maybe she borrowed them from a friend. I'm really glad she can enjoy her life as much as she does while contributing nothing to society (except more children who will expect handouts). This is what the feds should be looking for on the internet, not harmless pot growers.

Ok that woman comes across a FOOL, but.......

She mentioned she has 7 kids (her own issue) but in saying so she may not be able to afford child care with
the type of job she can retain, so she may be forced (by society) to stay at home and care for her children due to a lack of funds.

Health care is serious, everyone, rich, poor, or otherwise deserves to be able to be treated for illness no matter what their
social standing may be. We are all human, no matter the race, gender or otherwise. We as humans should be compassionate toward others
and help others to be safe and healthy. As humans we All deserve that.

Most people live day to day, pay to pay. However if that pay ends due to lay offs or other types of job loss does that mean they do not deserve health care and
should be denied to be healthy? Should a persons family (wife/husband or kids) suffer more then they already are because they cannot afford health care?

Should a person need to die from curable ailments from being denied healthcare or the opportunity to see a doctor?

What if it was you and your family? What if your child, wife mother or otherwise had to die for no reason other than money, would you be Ok with that?
What if you were turned away from a hospital or doctor because your insurance did not cover your ailment or pre-existing condition, is that ok with you? You are willing to leave you wife and kids behind, for those reasons?

The point is, Everyone deserves the right to be healthy and see a doctor, in turn everyone needs to pitch in to ensure those types of travesties do
not happen to you. Everyone comes under hard times, some people milk the system no matter what the system may be, but everyone deserves the right to see a doctor and be healthy, not only for themselves but also their families......

The woman in the video appears to be a loser, but I will not judge as I do not know her personal situation and
what she deals with in daily life.

OK, sorry, but that woman came across about as ignorant as ignorant can possibly be......."however" I fail to see how Obama's proposed bill changes what "her" situation was so far as handouts. A single non-working mother ALREADY got a hand-out via the Republican party.....not much has changed.

You need to work on that sense of humor, bubi. The video's a joke....mildly amusing at best, but it's still a parody.

And Ring'n, the healthcare topic has been beaten to death but basically some of the more conservative people on here think that if you're poor, you should have thought of that before getting childhood leukemia.

Everyone should have equal access to health care. People do not have the "right" to equal results or equal resources.
No one is denied emergency health care, this is not about survival, this is about quality of life. In every respect, one must pay for this. I'm sorry for all those who don't have everything they desire, but suffering is the human condition, it is the prime motivator to wealth, stability and longevity.

And if I choose not to "pitch in", am I penalized ? Are we willing to sacrifice the liberty of all for the benefit of some ? Does it make people sleep better to think that doing something must be better than doing nothing ?

What would Jesus do ? He would remind us that we all must be considerate of those less fortunate, helping as we can, of our own free will. He was against the establishment and was fully aware of the corruption of the church and it's redistribution. Help comes from love and compassion, not by force or coercion.

I know a girl who was kidnapped raped and held hostage for years in mexico until she escaped with her two kids and fled across the border to america. Here she had no one but a government half way house. Her family rejected her becuase they were catholic somehow. There she studied as a teacher and could not afford to finsish but works two jobs now to support her two kids. She cant afford health insurance as both jobs wont give her full time so as they dont have to pay medical. She is now diagnosed as having a tumor. She is still one of the happiest people I know. Crazy. I dont know but I kinda think it should be easier to get health insurance. She is am american too from above LA. Who cares.

According to Man O Green this should only motivate her to be wealthy.

How very selective of you to read only wealth from his words. I've reposted part of Man o' the green's post on the off chance you just missed the other two things he said. You should note that I've colored them red to ensure you can see them. Happy reading!

So again....if you have childhood leukemia and can't afford health insurance, you should have picked richer parents. No chemo for you....

Individual tragedies are hard to bear, but are not justification for the further enslavement of the entire population.
The fact that no person was willing to help this individual through their difficulties is appalling, but it does not logically follow that what society will not or can not provide should be the legal obligation of all.

The easiest way to enslave any group of people is to make them totally dependant on others... for everything. Thier is NO need to better ones self or thier situation (or even try) when everything you need... is handed to you.
