withered hairs in week 2

First grow went great. This second grow is a little different.
I had 3 of my 4 plants go through a change about a month ago. All the hairs on the buds shriveled up and the buds took weeks to recover and start growing again.
I moved 2 new plants from seed into my room about 2 weeks ago. Now all the hairs are dying on one of the new plants. What?
I use CFL lighting
Good air flow
Night time temps of 65f
Daytime temps around 80f
30% RH
Fox Farm half strength nutes
I will upload images here shortly. The hairs aren't just turning orange like they are ripening they are black and have receded inside the buds.
Any help is appreciated.

Nothing. I don't foliage feed or water. Im also very careful when I water so I know its not from watering. Its every bud on a 3 foot around plant so its severe.
I flushed with 4 gallons of water and I will see what happens. I would like to know exactly what the problem is so I can avoid it next time.

Honestly I've only seem is from bug sprays, critters eat em off and a rapid change in nutes or sudden high temps with low humidity. anything new added like a big fan?

I'm using the same 2 box fans I have been using. I keep them on low even so they don't blow dirt all over my room.

Underwatering in flower ( letting it dry out too much ) can cause this.
Overnuting also.

Not leaves banging into them ? That's my biggest problem.

It looks really severe for 2 days though. They look way receded.

Checking for any bananas ?

They are just bruised. Buds grow from the inside out. Normally it happens when other leaves rub against the bud site... It isn't pretty but perfectly normal.

They are more then just bruised ( unless you squished it between your fingers )

I have leaves banging into buds all the time and it's easy to see why the hairs are turning brown and die, but new growth is already started. And usually it's in a pattern...top of bud, one side or the other. It's obvious what's going on.

His look squished...those are receded hairs not dead ones. I mean they are dead, but they don't look like leaf damage. They look like they got laid.

No mites or bugs that I can see. leaves look good for the most part. I do have a couple of the bigger fan leaves cupping down but there is no nute burn at the tips. I remember the leaves doing this before in veg. So maybe this strain is super sensitive to nutes.

I will back off the nutes all together until l the buds recover.

I use CFL lighting and my pots still have good weight usually when I water. I water once a week but maybe I can switch to every 5 days for a while and see if that helps as well.

I hope that doesn't mean what I think it does....

I did put some teens in my budding room to show sex. Any plant that didn't show hairs after 10 days was removed and destroyed.I never even saw any "balls" form or anything. I just yanked them if they didn't get hairs.
