I'd just blame america for being america. You have your "rights" so grow up and start accepting the possible consequences of having such rights :) A gun is a weapon that is designed to kill, humans are flawed, why are we always surprised when something like this happens, we should be expecting it to happen. And it does. Didn't shock me in the slightest when i heard it on the news. Havn't given it a second thought. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
wow... what an ignorant comment

its the method that people get guns that is in need of being fixed .. NOT AMERICANS .....why be an asshole an say I'd just blame america....

The method in which people get guns causes deaths? Please do tell us all about it, this theory sounds very interesting, perhaps you can explain it a bit better?

It is funny though because UB wants us all to think OMG 277 people died from guns in 3 days? Maybe, but 205 of them were suicides. The most pertinent part of my last post is how MINISCULE tobacco use makes the gun statistic look, even with the majority suicides added in. Take the suicides out and were talking 74 tobacco users dieing for each gun death. The best part? UB Smokes cigarettes like a chimney and yet wants to get all high and mighty with us about guns. Here's to killing yourself UB *Raises glass of Johnny Walker*.

I digress somewhat when I say that I genuinely like bucky, he is fun to have around, easy to troll, gullible as all get out and adds a distinct flavor to the taste of this forum.

since this thread was started, 277 people have died due to gun violence.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people, if there were no guns, people would still kill. One wonders how many people that bane dude would have managed to kill with 4 steak knives - lots of them I betcha.

Except that the tobacco deaths involved "free choice", they chose to endanger their lives smoking. Beyond that, it took most of them upwards of 40 years to kill themselves with cigarettes, it only took a few moments for that bane dude to do what he did. You don't get to compare tobacco with guns. I like UB, I like Beenthere, I like all reactionaries because they invest their emotions in their ideology and down deep I envy them. Also I like UB cause he clicks the like button on my posts a lot.

Using a gun doesn't require "Free choice"????

Holmes had no "Choice" but to gun people down?

70% of UB's statistics are suicides, are you now telling me that those people were FORCED to shoot themselves instead of hanging themselves, jumping off a busyoverpass etc etc>

Please, really, gimme a fucking break.

Know something else? Second hand smoke isn't by choice.

I like UB too, but not because he hits your like button alot.

Have a smoke while driving your Infinity.

BTW

Wanna Race?
no, you go ahead, i'm more focused on fuel economy. the infiniti wasn't my choice, i'd still be going around in my 88 toyota corolla. but alas, you don't turn down gifts like that, especially ones that the gifter prefers to keep in the family.

well, it was only marginally a gift to be fair. i did work in el paso for two weeks for that "gift".

Those that got shot didn't have much in the way of free choice. They didn't even enjoy smoking throughout their 40 years before they died of their habit. I have my doubts about the 2nd hand smoke studies but one has a choice even then, to be around smoke or not.

You should like UB because he hits my like button, that means you don't have to do it as much.

To be fair though, the greatest gift ever given to me was when I turned 18 and my father gave me a boot in my ass and told me to get the fuck out of his house.
I didn't get a boot - "you can live in this house as long as you want son, but you are going to have to put up with your mom". I left when I was 17.
