instead of growing in the window.. grow outside.. i mean the window people can see it and outside they can see it too... whats the difference? temps? then get a proper indoor setup.

im just wanting to get jump on the growing season. i cant start outside till about april and may.
your best bet would be to get a t5 fixture then. they will grow nicely under one of them. get like a 4ft 4 bulb or something and you could put 4 plants easily under there.. they wont stretch or anything like the window would... keep the t5 as close to them as possible and given you give them nutes and stuff i wouldnt see any problems besides a fan being needed to strengthen the stems up

Im ballin on a budget bro. I mean a real low budget, thats why im trying to start early with this. I wanna just get them into vegitation state indoors using the sunlight threw the windows. Then move them outside to their perminent home.

Ok ok then get a tek two t5 from htg for like 70 bucks.. Cheapest your gonna get for decent results... Sure the window will work but they will be tall and lanky

One of my favorite methods over the years, place plant or seedlings in window before work/school return to closet at bedtime to avoid the cold, have other plants like bamboo as camouflage, once too big go to cfls, best pot is 2-3 gallon tops
