I hope rogers dies a slow death, every month i need to get into a wrestling match over my bill

PS buy a android box people, cancel cable down to basic and get rid of your home phone if you can. These companies are going to fall one day with the opensource movement.

I got rid of SHAW cable a few years ago. Its been OTA, Torrents, Netflix and Hulu for dirt cheap. For internet there's lots of indie ISP's but once Wind is bought out there is no more indie cell phone provides anymore. Fuck me I guess I'll be cell phone free for a while.

Look into XBMC, new episodes/movies a few hours after airing. 150$ you get the box and theres no fees. I watched the 99$ mayweather fight the night i got it and cancelled my 90$+ monthly VIP cable

Couple of things you can do,to save some coin. One is go splits on satellite, with a family member,or good friend....each account is allowed 6 receivers, that's three each.Ooma (need to purchase)is a great option for your home phone, provided you have hi_speed internet..all you pay is the tax 5$ a month,as opposed to 60$ from from Bell.

Genvideos is great for movies. I bought two RoKus from Walmart for 100$ and run Netflix, YouTube and my browser on it. No cable bills and my internet bill is 52.50 a month.

Cell phone is Koodo. I think they run off Telus but they're a wicked company imo. Phenomenal customer service.

too bad patients with mobility issues can't do that....if my wife gets her mobility back, i will be sure to tell her to get a life.
My comment was more about what people tend to watch. Most of my disabled friends are accessing reality through their media, not trying to escape from it.

I saw a discussion of the relative merits of entertainment channels, aka drivel that saps my will to live and contribute. Didn't see anything about disabilities at all, so do try not to be offended.

Cellphone free like me - I've been cell phone free for five years.
My cell is dead in the glove box of my car where it's been since I threw it in there fed up with getting too many annoying calls from people I didn't want to hear from in the first place.
It's been a wonderful feeling of power "phone freedom" - when I'm not home, I'm not available...too bad, so sad - I can't hear them.

In my neck of the woods we have two shitty choices the MTS "monopoly telephone service" or Rogers. I have tried both and they are terrible having to argue about every second bill due to bizarre charges. :finger:
