Grow Box Dimensions: 5' Height 4' Width 2' Deep

Looking to grow a minimum of 3 plants, up to 7 or 8 if possible. Will this HPS Light work with my grow box?

Carbon Filter - After researching I found that Mountain Air is a very respected brand and effective. (My box size is 32 cubic feet so the 180 CFM would allow it to cycle the air 5 times per minute.)

Fan for Carbon Filter - Will the air cycled 5 times per minute be enough to keep the heat down in my grow box?

I have pretty much the same setup and it works very well for me. I only need to run my fan in the medium range to keep temps in check. Here's a picture of my tent which is 2x4x5 ft. My fan is outside the tent connected with insulated flex duct for noise reduction. I've seen a lot of good reviews on Mountain Air as well, but I run a Phresh filter. Another brand that gets reviews.

I have the exact same one, I love the cooltube since it is short and fits perfectly in my grow box, this is from today. One thing to consider though is that the ballast fan on this thing is pretty loud so I hope it is not close to your head :)

*Any by exact same one, I actually mean I purchased from the same seller on ebay :)

I see that you have a tube connected to your light, but Im using a 4" carbon filter and fan, but my light is 6". Is the goal here to have your intake connected to your cool tube reflector then the other side of the light connected to your filter/exhaust?

Looking nice, how are you managing height? This dense guy looks like he has been topped and had the lights low on him for a nice dense bush of nugs. Is that all? Or something else?

No topping at all actually, just LST around the pot. Next run I plan on doing some cropping to see how that does. Also keeping the lights super close since I have my carbon scrubber on the exhaust so it acts as a muffler for the sound. I may add in a small carbon scrubber internally but for now the smell is pretty contained.

I would note that this cooltube is about 10-12" shorter than most, and I do not think you can use it will a 600W or 1000W bulb if you upgrade the ballast later. For me this was perfect since I do not have the width to be able to support a 27" coo tube.

If I had the space, then I probably would have gone a fullsize tube and a ballast that does not use a fan (I think Lumatek) since it would be quieter. Since this is in my office I try to keep it from sounding like I am in a datacenter.

I use a 4" fan and carbon filter as well. I used 6"-4" duct reducers on my fan and filter to connect the ducting. My intake is passive. Air flows in through the vents on my tent and then is pulled out going into the filter and through the ducting and cooltube.

My new grow box dimensions are 4x2x5
My new total cubic feet: 40

My filter is 180 CFM (So it would recycle all of my grow box air 4.5 times per minute.)
Here is the filter I am planning on buying: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251166669308?var=550187573519

I am still looking for an inline fan. Im not sure how many CFM my fan should have. Does it have to be 180 CFM? I found one that has 190 CFM. Should it be the same or is it recommended to have a little more CFM than the filter?

I have never used a HPS light or seen a cool tube reflector before. Where does the fan go on the cool tube reflector?

Does it go like this?

Passive Intake --> Ducting --> 400 watt HPS --> Ducting --> Inline Fan --> Ducting --> Exhaust Vent

remember the CFM ratings for these fans are based on what the fan moves straight out, as soon as you add in any bends or texture these start having an impact on the CFM the fans can produce. Adding filters and lights all decrease your CFM. Get as big a fan as you can and get a dimmer switch of some sort so you can adjust for sound reasons.
