Hello guys a local shop can get me this cpu cooler for a amazing deal, I will remove the fans of it because I want to use them passive a techpowerup report tells the next
''First of all, it is not possible to run the Vapochill Micro without a fan. At idle, the temperatures were stable in the 50° region, but once the CPU got loaded, temperature rose quickly to 80C.

And he was running a 150w cpu, so I think a cxb3590 at 1.4a would be ok ore I am wrong ?
And will the cob holder fit on it you think ?

I am planning on getting 24 cxb3590 3500k running at 1.4 with.

This is the cpu cooler I am talking about 278g dry weight.
I am from the EU btw Heatsinks are very high cost here and I want to rum them passive.

I have a feeling it will run hotter than you like. Maybe maybe you could make it semi passive with a little Oscillating fan?

278 grams with active cooling @1.4 amps is going to be difficult to keep your Tj below 80C, let alone passive. You want MASS for passive cooling...I would say in the range of at east 50 grams of mass for every 1 watt. :peace:
