I am presently at the end of my first grow, (bagseeds under 400w hps). nearing 8th week of flowering, (pics below). My question is,,I just bought seeds from "attitude seed bank" kiwiskunk,& motivation. I want to start them NOW!! but presnt grow not quite done yet. can i get them (4 seedlings) started under, ONE 68w (300w equalivent) 2700k cfl for maybe aweek or so untill the present grow is done?? After the present grow finishes i'll be puting NEW grow under 400w Mh for Veg. then switch to 400w hps for flowering. (digital ballist). will this sustain the babys for a week or two untill i can get them under real lighting or would it be best to just wait?

the 68 watt bulb should be enough. i used to have one of my plants sitting under a 13 watt cfl and i noticed new growth everyday!

Because not everyone who looks in this Forum will look in other forums. I have never looked in the outdoor forum so if therre was a question in that forum that i had the answer to the "asker" would ever seen my "answer" because i never look in there (outdoor forum). Does that answer your Question mrboots? or i'm i wrong bout that? I figure the more "related" forums i put my question in the more "informative" answers i'll get. Not everyone in RIU knows what there talking ( no disrespect) about but will give you there "BEST GUESS!!) i'm not in this for guessing, i try to get the "facts" and to do that you have to sometime "weed throw the Bullshit", parden the pun. I hope that answers your question.

Thats cool, I answered your other post then looked at this one and couldn't find my answer. thats why I asked. I usually just look at the new posts myself. Good luck with your grow!

i would get a 6500k light but about the same wattage will be fine. i put my seedling under 2700k lights and it REALLY stunted their growth, it was the wrong spectrum

I agree with Nugetss. Get a "cooler" bulb anything above 5500*K is fine. You need more blues for them babies. Also, cut a plastic soda bottle and use the base as a canopy to keep them in high humidity. Good luck.
