I used something similar in my tent but I used earth bulbs they worked I just didn't like the stretch I was getting but I didn't have enough of them to do what I wanted .. But yes they work

I've seen micro grows use them, you need to cut off the plastic tip of the bulb to reveal the led. After that it's just getting the right spectrum (those are 5k) and wattage (those are 15w each) for your grow.

They work very well in smaller sized grows. I've just finished a grow with 12 bulbs similar to those. As mentioned above taking the plastic globe off adds an extra 10-20% to the light output.

Space 4-6 of them around your plant. No need to worry about getting them too close. If you do everything else right, these lights should work fine. Just about any light will work if placed properly.

I've had good results with an 8x15w uncapped led bulb rig (2x4000k 6x2700k) someone will probably explain in great detail why they're not perfect, but it worked really well for me.
