I was in a dilemma bc I moved her to a corn field. My dad said they are starting to harvest corn around here so I got worried and went to check on her. I scouted the area around the corn fields and it turns out right behind the corn fields, about 200ft back is an area of open sky, I brought her there and nestled her in a tree / bush line. She reaches above the plants beside her, but is surrounded on all sides. It seems like a very good spot, just wondering if she will get enough sun.
She is over 6ft now and really starting to show clusters of pistils. I dont have to worry about an early harvest anymore now that she is out of harms way. I'm going to let her grow as long as possible, which arises another question...
Will she be ready before the first frost? I figure it is going to take her a while to finish, as she is half and half...(i figure 10-15 weeks total). It's been 3 weeks since she showed her first set of pistils. When is the first frost generally in the northeast? Will she be ready?
