about how big are my plants going to get before they start to smell? i am going to have to have them under supplemental light after the sun goes down so that they dont flower too early but i dont really want my parents to smell them. they're cool with me smoking, so i dont think they'd care that much, but none the less.
will my plants smell?

Well it is depending on what you call smell. Whether you are real close to them or just in the room. As far as close to them you should start smelling them in the first month of growth. It also depends on what kind of strain your are dealing with. AK-47 is notorious for reeking. As for the parents I'm guessing that you prob have it set up in the closet and if then you are pretty good with smell until they start getting very good sized. Then I would suggest putting some towels down in the cracks to reduce the flow of scent to someones nose when they walk in your room.

Your WAY off. Even the shittiest bag seeds will fucking STANK, Even in the Veg stage.
It really depends on how your exhausting the air in the grow area. If your exhausting out a window or something and you create a nice passive intake then it wont be so bad. But its gonna fucking stink man unless you run carbon filter.
All that water you feed your plants gets released into the air through Transpiration. Rub your fingers on the stalk of your plant, then smell your fingers, they will fucking STANK. You might not notice it so much when your there all day. But if you've been out for a while and you come home you will most definitely smell them if you dont have proper exhaust or odor control.

Buy some plug in fabreeze pet odor, you should be good with 2
alright. and they'll be outside during they day so i dont think it'll be a problem

All mine smell since they had real leaves. seems to have to do with the humidity and mositure on the plant. when i dont mist them, hardly ANY smell
