Will my light be enough?

I am honestly still very confused.
According to your calculations the watt that a LED lamp consumes is the true watt?
That means that LED and e.g. HPS with the same watt consumption have the same output on light.
Let's say a 250w LED has the same light as a 250w HPS.

That would make all the hype for LED redundant.
But this totally disregards the efficiency of LEDs. Isn't a for example 10w LED producing more light per sqf than a 10w HPS?

Welcome to the HPS/LED debate! :wall:

I like LED because it kicks off less heat and they're relatively maintenance free. The efficiency/output debate is where all the people come out of the woodwork to defend their camp. Think of it as Mac/PC debates in the 1990s.

LED tech is evolving all the time. People are growing absolute fire with it.
HPS tech is tried and true. People are growing absolute fire with it.

The choice is yours.

If you end up with LED, you'll have a whole other debate to get into. DIY Vs. Retail. (I chose retail.)

Because you can still run less wattage than you would require for HPS. If I’m not mistaken, most growers run 1,000W HPS in a 4x4 tent, but most people who run Quantum Boards only run 480W.

The problem is with the way most other LED grow light manufacturers advertise their lights. For example, the lights I have in my tent are advertised as 1,500W, but they only actually pull 300W. For that reason I’m running 2 in my 4x4 but a lot of LED growers will say that’s overkill for my grow area. I’ve seen one grower on Reddit who was getting incredible results from a single 260W Quantum Board in his 4x4 tent. That seems pretty low to me, though.

My 4X8 tent has 2 "2000W" boards, and one "3000W" board. 7000W of HPS would set the damn tent on fire. I'm pulling 1,200W from the wall, have perfect coverage across the entire tent, and stay at about 82-deg all day long. I'm not sure 2 600W HPS would give me the same coverage and stay as cool. I'll also never have to replace a bulb. Efficiency is more than just output vs. wattage. There are other considerations.

Would anyone be able to possibly tell me if i have too much or to little light I have a 1200watt wills led light from amazon its true watt is 220 and i was told i would need probably like around 300watts so i picked up another 600watt same brand if im right i believe the tru watt would be like 330. Im new to growing and kinda lost i dont want to overdue it but also dont want to end up having not enought light. Also my tent is only a 2x2 and i believe 4ft tall.
