Will I kill my plant?

Hey guys, one of my plants is just getting too fucking big, I was thinking about cutting the main cola off after this week and letting the rest of the plant grow like it should. Will this kill the plant, or will it be fine? I am not looking for answers like, 'I wouldn't do that, you will be losing a lot of bud'. All I wanna know is will this kill the plant or will the rest of the buds grow up to be good nugs? Thanks everyone!

As long as the main colla is not making up like 1/3 of the plant or more should be fine and will add growth to the rest of the buds but you are stopping your main collas growth which is your biggest producer.
