will changing pot often make the plant grow faster?

Happy Easter Sunday to all my fellow growers.

Quick question on maximizing the plants growth during veg. I read an article a few weeks back on best watering technique for soil plants and the woman who had written the article mentioned that plants grow faster during veg if you change pots and replant in larger pots versus planting right off the bat into a larger pot that will be used during the whole grow.

Only asking because i'm vegging a few and they are ready to be transplanted.

Easier to root out a small pot, wet/dry cycles better and you can veg and flower more in lesser sized pots generally.

Seems weird putting a small plant in a massive amount of soil and problematic to water but some make it work. Imo its quicker repotting :-)

Someone here has a good detailed picture of a comparison, small pot vs big pot, small pot, short veg then transplant into big pot, wins. Small pots make better sideways rooting under top layer soil, better rootball overall.

Once the roots begin to coil around the bottom of the container. You up pot.
You will get a burst of growth out of the plant, as the roots take over the new pot area.

I up pot from solo cups to 1 gallon pots, to 3 gallon pots and then to 5 or 7 gallon pots. This is in organic runs or synthetic runs. The up potting from the 3 to the 5 or 7 pots... This is 8 -10 days before moving them into bloom. This is when I take clones from the lollypopping...

Some strains are topped and left in smaller pots longer, to slow them down a bit to fit in the rotation properly. This is a perpetual garden...
