hi SANDMAN imo those are seed pods but its still hard to tell from the pics, heres a lil tip for u, ''take the plants out of ur gro room to take pics , place them with a neutral backround so the plant stands out more!!!!! u b suprised how much more detail u can see when u do this, better pics = better diagnosis!!

p.s everyone was tellin me the same ''SWOLLEN CYLAXES'' it turned out they were all wrong, if those are seed pods ur fucked!! u need to find out asap and if they are wich i hope theyr not u need to chop them asap or ul lose all ur bud 2 seeds!!!!!!! i had this last week and was devistated!!!

Even if those do turn out to be seed pods, there's no need to hack down the plants. There aren't enough of them to have a significant effect on the plant as a whole, and you can take tweezers and pluck them out. Put them in a little glass jar and save the pollen for a rainy day (or a good idea). Grab a magnifying glass and take a close look at the "swollen pods" (for diplomacy sake). You should be able to get a better idea of where you stand. Good luck and happy growing

this is were i strongly disagree, if left to long (if they are hermie ofcourse) those seeds will overtake ur plant of bud and the longer u leave it the worse it will get and the mo bud u will lose, thats my opinion anyway, hey KUSHKANUCK can i ask for ur advise on wetha 2 put germd seeds strait under 18/6 after sprounting root and planted??

1 of the bigbud popped yest the root was 1/4 inch so i planted it 5mm under. i left it overnight in dark an just put the cfl's on 18/6 about 5inches away from pot, is this what u would have done buddy??? thanx TAFFO

Again mate, pluck the pods out with tweezers and you get the best of both worlds. Your bud stays intact, and you have pollen separated for later. If you sacrifice the plants for this, it would be a scar on nature (like hanging a transvestite, not my favorite people, but we don't kill them for being confused ).

I always put my newly sprouted seeds and rooting clones in 24/0 light, always. Two weeks of 24/0 veg, two weeks of 18/6 veg/preflower, and finally 7-13 weeks of flowering depending on your strain. .I might keep the lights around 3" just too avoid a growth-spurt-burning and to keep stretching down. I SEE UR POINT WITH THE TRANNYZ LMAO, so 24 light,some say they dont benefit anything over 18? i dnt kno coz i avnt compared!! do u see better results m8?

I've done a side-by-side, really should post that, but I'm a procrastinator . Anyways, saw more vertical growth with a consistant 18/6 light cycle for 4 vegetative weeks, but the stem strength, leaf size and internodal distancing were better with the 24/0 - 18/6 for 2 weeks respectively. The schedule I use is proportional to nature on a lower scale, been working for me for 2 grows now. Best experience is to get the first-hand right ...

How about instead of declaring everybody wrong, state your opinion and leave it at that, everyone is stating based on their experience too...

yes i know but there is no need to say actual your WRONG. he's giving his opinion and as are you, everyone is here trying to learn but if people tell them what they think is wrong rather than explain reasonably what you think you pretty well chase them out of the thread. and that doesn't help anyone... and clearly he's newer so take in to consideration he may not have the same amount of experience. I understand it happened to you and yes it could happen but all cheezy was saying is he thinks its fem if it has white hairs, which is true but may not be the case always. so maybe elaborate on what he said and explain to him that a male plant can have white hairs coming out as well, and i will agree on that one because i have one right now that KushCanuck and I are going to be getting pollen from... I didn't mean to sound rude with my reply I just think you should give the new comer a chance and simply share your knowledge with him rather than put his opinions down like that...

also was talking to kushcanuck earlier and i have a seed from a hermie plant (BIGBUD) it has germed and popped the soil in just 48hrs, just wondering do u think its worth me giving it a go seen as its come from a hermie, i have heard mixed thaughts on this as i kno some peps who have grown hermie seeds and done fine, others say dont bother, just wondering wot u would do out of curiosity??

i appreciate all the care friends, things havent changed much, the sacs I see on the Big Bang are faintly present on all of my plants. So I hope they are resin glands. My ballest or my bulb fucked up today, I had to switch to the Halide for the time being until tomorrow when I get another HPS. I thought m ballast was the problem but I guess it was the bulb?? any thoiughts

glad to hear ur cylaxes havnt gone abnormaly large, if their consistent in size over the whole crop u should be fine fella, well hopefully, as for ur ballast,it prob ur bulb, howmany grows has it done? if u know that is?
