Thinking about an outdoor grow in the high country Will I have trouble
With ELK DEER and others and bears eating my bud ?

Not the bud so much as young tender plants. Also a lot of critters like to dig out the dirt for the amendments. I strung up fishing line with bells attached and stayed away from fish and blood meal and such.
