If your plant is streatching it is streatching to get to light... it isn't getting light and thinks its because theres taller plants in its way so it streatches to try and get over them... So it needs more light... fortunatly this time of year theres a great source of free light... unless your south of the equator... try and keep yor plants in the sun all day... fin out what part of your yard gets light the lates and wich part gets the first light in the morning... yea... that.. is cool... WHAT!? what are you talking about? who me? yea me mother fucker, what are you babaling about!? I dont fuckin know go fuck yourself! EY go fuck your mother! WHAT!? what did you say about my mom!?... O.K. Ill stop... or will I??? bum bum bummmm

*if* you think that your plant is getting plenty of light, it could be that your type is getting the wrong type of light. Too much light in the red spectrum, and none in the blue (like the light produced by an incandescent bulb) will cause your plant to stretch also.

50 watts isn't enough... I'v seen some great grows on this site by people using CFL's the spirally light bulbs. youll need at least 2 150w CFL's if you go that way... 7 bucks each... lamp thingy 3 bucks... cheap... unfortunately you will need even more light when it comes time to flower.

just get a 250/4oo hps if you grow with all the spiraly bulbs they end up costing more, and when your 1 only plant needs more lite you need more of em .if you get a 250/400hps you can put 4 to 6 plants under just one.to me it hardley seems worth all that bother for just one plant.its better if you have more plants in case awt goes wrong.sorry for harping on .but i took me a while GET IT too see the lite.ha ha ha i mean lol
