Why organic?

I am wondering why organic is becoming so popular. Currently I have one synthetic plant and two organic. What are all of your reasons for going organic?

I know that a lot of people go Organic because it is much easier to use organic nutes without burning your plants. When you use chemical nutes (I use FFGB and FFTB) these can really screw up your plants if you don't know what you are doing. You can mix some blood and bone meal in your soil, some humus, some limestone, gauno, ect and basically have food for a long time for your plant without the risk of chemical burn.

I thought it was all hype, but during my first grow my Bubblegum plants were burnt before harvest. Even after flushing, etc., the bud didn't burn smoothly, the smoke was harsh, and the flavor/aroma wasn't bubblegummy-sweet at all.

Now i'm a believer in organics.

so you burned em in flower? was veg going good?

organic is allways better IMO but i use chemical ferts .. just take it slow dont add so much at one time. chemical ferts hit the plant fast and hard .. organic are slow and easy

Yeah veg was fine, and even through flowering i was light on the nutes, but it still ended up almost ruining the bud completely (flavor and smoothness, anyway). Still smoked all 4 oz of it, but from my current grow onwards it's organics only :p

yes i grow outdoors it gives me something to tend to and even when i start my indoor i have to have some outside just how it is supposed to be ya know?imma get some pics up of her shes huge,

what is your opinion on the quality of the smoke between the indoor vs. the outdoor?

all the chemicals and growth hormones and shit in hydro FUCK YOU UP thats why.

organically grown outdoors or indoors is alot smoother as well i must add. also i find bush (grown in soil) is more giggily than hydro which is just sit there blazed out of your mind.

always smokes smoother and more evenly then using nutes...you have less control over the grow when you grow organics most of the time. When you grow Chemical you can control the amounts of each nute.

the sun is best i love the natural way,,,to me outdoor herb is best,,its all in the curing after the plant is done with its work u have to get to work equally hard,,,,,indoor herb when growing u are the sun you are the control and the driver so u can get numorous harvest if you do it in the rite fashion

kiss-assi find organic growing to be the best way to bring the quality of the smoke to its upmost potential. superior high and taste would be MY main reasons to stick with organics. and i really enjoy preparing mediums with organic fertilizers and experimenting with different mixtures to add my personal signature to different strains. amazing color and unmatched smoothness on the lungs with overwhelming full body high while still achieving rock hard density with shorter flowering time have been my results!

Organic soil is the best really. All those fert balls and crap in chemical soils just ain't right for plants that will be consumed. I rather natural stuff in my body than all types of chemicals that in the long run may fuck with your brain in some way or another.

i feel you on the sun! it is hard to match. im so damn lazy though... nothing beats walking to a nice patch approaching harvest time. all that work is worth every minute!!

so my buds may come out harsh bc i use a chemical fertilizer? 10-15-10 shultz-instant?
not necessarily. flushing thoroughly with plain water a few times (depending on how fast ur mix dries) during bud maturation should at least help in keeping the harshness to a minimum. flushing will help remove chemical buildup in ur pots and ur mix which will cause a harsher taste. just make sure to not overwater.

Organics all the way, you build your soil to make the ultimate ecosystem. Having a well balanced soil thriving with all the little critters that live in breaking the soil down into the proper components to feed the plant. Granted your plant may not grow as quickly have all of the extra foliage that your hyped up chemical plant does, but you have a plant that grows to its full potential, flowers more evenly and delivers a superior product. But your organic plant is more well balanced, stronger against nature's adversities and IMO a happier plant.
