Why no over watering, DWC??

I can't figure out why plants in DWC systems don't always show signs of over watering.. I understand that a portion of the roots are suspended above the water, but even still, the rest are submerged. I have used the system without any problems, I just wonder what you guys think about it.

Thanks

Really? Thats it? I have found the more air the better they do. So I guess it would be safe to say: Over Watering symtoms are not really because there is to much water (as the name implies) . It's becauses of a lack in oxigen in the roots.. Does this mean I could Submerge the entire plants roots system as long as I have adequit amount of air coming into the DWC system?

Not necessary. The more oxygen you can provide to the roots without drying them out, the better. Keeping the roots suspended in 100% humid air is more effective than keeping the roots submerged with bubbles going through it.

Im sure both methods would work for growing... but I have no doubt that roots suspended in air would work BETTER.

I have had my eye on a Nice Aero setup, I hope to have it by June. I currently help out a few friends with thier grows, but have none of my own. So I think the Aeroponics unit would be a nice choice for me.
Thanks.
