when i use to transplant my plants before budding i would always put a banana peel in the soil and i swear to God it made the buds smell like bananas....maybe i was just smelling the peel in the soil or maybe i was just stoned, but it always seemed to make the buds smell like bananas...lol which reminds me why the hell dont i do that anymore... since we didnt know exactly what strain it was, we use to call it banana ramba!!

Great source of potassium. Recommended for roses too.

ya i did have a slight fruit fly problem, but neem oil took care of that really quick and i havent had the problem since, and like viagro said, if you let them dry out it helps out...but definately a good source of potassium thats why i do it...

my uncle used to bury fish in his outdoor spots, and one time he showed me a bud, a big, almost black, sticky bud. he had it wrapped in paper towels, then cloth hand towels, then plastic bags, then more paper towels, then another plastic bag and wrapped all that in a regular bath towel. i didnt know why until he got past the second plastic bag then the fish smell filled up the room, and this was just one big bud, maybe a half ounce, not burning mind you, just there, givin off a nasty fish smell, he said it was knock out heavy couchlock stuff, i never sampled it tho i was just a kid, the memory is burned in my head, lol

I put banana peels in my compost, which I mix into my soil. Works good.
Egg shells, banana peels, and some used coffee grinds. After breaking down a bit it's great mixed in the soil.

No offense to any of you guys, but regardless of my age I don't think I would ever be stupid enough to fall for the banana peel myth. Whoever came up with it must have been like face palm, as soon as one person tried it.

Banana weed? I don't think there will be a marijuana strain that tastes a lot like bananas. And people can't just say "Hmm, banana sounds like a good flavor. I should make a strain of cannabis that tastes like bananas." There are some pretty fruity strains though!

thats like the 3 main things i put in my compost, along with tea bags and a few other things, but egg shells, coffee grinds really help balance the ph and since ive started growing organically, ph isnt even an issue anymore!!!
