Why is my plant getting little white hairs during vegging?

I'm still vegging my plant. 5 6500K CFLs - Plant is getting slightly large now. It hit a MASSIVE growth spert over night producing 14 new leaves than are already over one inch long over night. Now, on every node, they're at least 4-6 white hairs. Could it have started flowering? Does this mean it's a girl? It's been getting 18 hours of light.

might be starting to autoflower it sounds like. look for the pistol and the V shaped hair's ^.^ grats !:bigjoint:

its fine whats happening is called preflowering..its just your plant showing its sex, but as long as your lights are on an 18/6 schedual they will continue to veg....it does mean that its a girl but its not going into flower yet..
