Why is dense bud better?

I always hear people saying how dense weed is good but I can't really see why that would make the weed any better. Some of the best weed that I have ever smoked has been pretty "lose". I feel like it is just one of those things that everyone has been told and accepts but nobody really has any science behind it. What do you all think

Dense meaning solid.. meaning more weed.. if theirs open space in the weed (loose) it means there's less weed there.. if its rock hard, you've got a shit ton of weed packed into a small space.

it depends but in general dense can be considerd better cuzz it weighs more. though im not a fan of dense beasters.

i like dense buds becaus in most cases it means the plant was well mature and healthy.,.,its alot more in a lil package ect.,.,sumtimes airy herb is gud but like said less herb more stem.,when it comes to the stone of the herb thats genetics ect.,.,but ive never thought of it that way now after today i might lo0k at one or the other difrent,lol

the denser the bud the more weight you get, the more weight in the bag the more money you get. if you dont like one plant because it is too dense, sell that that shit and smoke the one you do like. dense bud is better in a pipe or a rillo. some are not to good in a cigarette paper. i like thick buds that break down good when you pinch and twist, instead of just rolling up into a ball with that stringy shit. i have had some pretty babby shit that has been dense bud and pretty harsh, so i really don't know which is better, its all a matter of opinion. but i vote dense

Yea dense weighs more but marijuana is sold by weight so it doesn't matter, a gram is a gram.

yea i agree everyone is stuck on weight i have had some good fluffy weed absolutelly packed with thc, dense plants r some sexy bitches thoe

Its just preference. Some people prefer dense nugs and others prefer softer nugs.
