I don't get it either. They have the same name. And? It must surely have been intentional because their genetics were no good, not that it's a common phrase.

What is the issue? You're quick enough to make a thread about it, yet just try and shoot down the first person to question what the issue is with an immaure response adding nothing of value as a manner of clarifying your annoyance.

Really??? Jesus is it everyones first day??? lol

Ok say i take some skunk #1 and breed it to some bag seed male...then i sell the seeds as Triangle Kush. Do you honestly not see the problem with that??? Even if i take a nice OG male and cross it to the Ghost cut then sell seeds as SFV OG...do you not understand why thats bad??

Regardless i having this thread taken down until i her from the breeder. Ive contacted the company 3 times and nothing. MOST people in the seed business understand WTF the problem with this is. Hell most people that care about the preservation of strains understand what the problem with this is. Sorry you dont...keep learning my man!

Theyre not calling it kush, or haze, or anything like that. southern charm is a common phrase. Pick a generic phrase, expect others to use it. If i breed a strain, and it has big buds, i have every right to call it big bud.

NO YOU DONT! There is already a BigBud! There is ALREADY A BC BigBud....
WTF is the point of breeders naming their work??? You sir dont know WTF you are talking about. Go talk to some of the big breeders and see what they say. I can tell you what they say because one of the top 5 in the business is the one that told me about all this! So thanks for your input bro but you have no idea what you are talking about and people like YOU are whats wrong with the seed business right now.

all still is saying is

if you have smoked/grown that clone, and then see some seeds for sale(with the same name),and grow them seeds, and its not like the clone you smoke/grow....a person will get upset with that.
but it sounds like you got the answer you was looking for,and no real harm was done..

And big bud is a generic term. What do we aim for when we grow? Big buds, so if i want to call a strain that produces big buds, big bud, boo fucking hoo. Maybe don't use a generic name next time ;) If i were to call it querkle, yes, that would be an issue. This isn't. In no other way than companies can't trademark generic names, neither can breeders. Southern charm is a common phrase, common means it get's used all over. Deal with it.

Who is your "top 5" breeder btw? I'd just love to hear how you calculate who is top 5. Because the only real way of doing it would be income, in which case Arjan would supposedly be the top breeder in the world  Nice fail at attempting to sound credible.

Indeed, but there is a reason they tell you the lineage. That's the growers fault for not reading in to what he is buying.

BIGBUD IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK NAME FROM SENSI SEEDS! Go a head and use it.

now you can call yours DipShits Bigbud! That's just fine.

Yet there are a million products out there all happily using the term big bud without a single legal issue. Including nirvana big bud, home grown fantasy big bud. But yup, they are all being sued and having their products banned from sale

Your level of maturity is rather astounding

Wow, this is probably the dumbest thread Ive seen in a minute.
Look dude, BB has got better things to do than respond to your dumb emails (like making fire ass genetics, keep up the work BB guys).

SO they named a plant something that was apparently already taken. Big deal.
Have year ever heard of THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

There are probably 50 songs named : "Hold On" or "baby i love you" or "lets get it on"
Do you think people get confused and scream "oh my god knockoff song, not even the same lyrics"
No, because they refer to the song as Justin Beiber's "Baby" or Chris Brown's "Forever" (As opposed to Carla Tompson or forever by the Beach Boys).

So just because something has been named once, no is ever allowed to name something else that same thing. I guess if that's the case then a lot of car companies also have a lot of explaining to do. These days there are too many products and too much competition for people to just outright own every single name of a product.
*MANUFACTURER > *Model
Chevy's > Suburban
Chrystler's > Cruiser
HSO's > Bubba Kush
G13's > C99

Bro do you live in a cave?

NOT only that, but you're in here insulting people's intelligence, calling people children, and talking shit about people's mothers. I dont really need to explain myself, but everyone who reads your post can see you're the one that's clearly still a teenager. And if you're not, I truly feel bad for you man. Grow up

EDIT: and you were so well mannered in the BB thread, what gives?
