that glass 13x9 with lid top is probably not air tight, i own the same kind of bake ware with lids. i dont see why you dont cut the buds off those branches and toss em in a mason jar...

Holy crap! If you have very many of those you may want to contact Lawrence/Livermoore Labrotories and see if you can borrow their vacuum chamber for awhile.

A buddy went to Michaels and got a bunch of the old-fashioned jars that are hinged and have rubber seals. The seals are replaceable and the jars will EASILY hold a bud the length of your lower leg. They weren't cheap, but he's used them for over 6 years and never even had to replace the seals.
Those hinged jars with the rubber seals are awsome.

i am going to go get jars today, is the fact that it was 90% dry when i was done hanging it and when i put it into the pan and covered it over night it was now very damp? i put a fan on it with the top open and it dried out back to 90% in about 3 hours.

when i put it in jars i can imagine it will get damp again, even when opening a few times a day.

please help i just cut a few more plants down and they are drying, i want to cure them correct.

I think you're getting the idea, and not a moment too soon! You want to be in control of that moisture as it's escaping the buds. If it's escaping too quickly, the buds are likely to get a bit extra cripsy, and lose potential flavor; too slowly, and you're at risk for mold buildup. Get the jars, and continue to "burp" or air out the buds every few hours, just as you're doing. Slowly, the condensation will cease to appear, and after one final airing out (I actually completely empty the jars this final time for about an hour, then reseal for storage), the buds will be ready to store long-term in a cool, dry place, such as a drawer. Just be sure to check on the jars constantly until you get a feel for how long it takes them to need airing out again. I ALWAYS burp my jars just before bed, just in case I sleep in and forget about them the next day. Early on, they still usually need to be opened again the next morning. Good luck!
