The Russians liberated the Polish camps (ie the death camps) when the Allies were still in Germany.

It was Dachau. My mistake. I thought it was in Poland. He fought in three wars (actually one war, one conflict and one police action) and I have memory issues. I apologize.

Late in the afternoon of 29 April 1945, KZ Dachau was surrendered to the American Army by SS-Untersturmführer Heinrich Wicker.[SUP][citation needed][/SUP] A vivid description of the surrender appears in Brig. Gen. Henning Linden's official "Report on Surrender of Dachau Concentration Camp":
As we moved down along the west side of the concentration camp and approached the southwest corner, three people approached down the road under a flag of truce. We met these people about 75 yards north of the southwest entrance to the camp. These three people were a Swiss Red Cross representative and two SS troopers who said they were the camp commander and assistant camp commander and that they had come into the camp on the night of the 28th to take over from the regular camp personnel for the purpose of turning the camp over to the advancing Americans. The Swiss Red Cross representative acted as interpreter and stated that there were about 100 SS guards in the camp who had their arms stacked except for the people in the tower. He said he had given instructions that there would be no shots fired and it would take about 50 men to relieve the guards, as there were 42,000 half-crazed prisoners of war in the camp, many of them typhus infected. He asked if I were an officer of the American army, to which I replied, "Yes, I am Assistant Division Commander of the 42nd Division and will accept the surrender of the camp in the name of the Rainbow Division for the American army.[SUP][non-primary source needed][/SUP][SUP][undue weight? – discuss][/SUP]

Not completley true, Iran has always allowed inspectors from the IAEA to inspect they're non-weaponised facilities. By all means they might have some secret facilities or IMHO they have already purchased something from Pakistan, China or Russia, as a deterent to a Israeli fisrt strike.
They also have thousands of silkworm missiles ready to destroy oil facilities in Saudi Arabia should it come to that. They don't need to attack the US mainland, they could cripple the US economy, based on petro-dollars, by proxy.
Israel actually has never let IAEA inspectors in to view their over 200+ nuclear weapons, will not sign non-proliferation treaties and are the biggest violators of UN security council resolutions. They are the cause of tensions in the middle east. The state of israel came about through a backroom deal with the Rothschilds & Kermet Roosevelt Jr (paying of central american countries to vote in favour at the UN).
The US can't play favourites in the mid east, especially in the current climate. I'd also like to see Israel sabre rattle when the US isn't standing behind them with a big gun!
The mainstream media in the US has repeated blatent lies about Iran, distorting the truth to fit they're western view of the region.

Contrary to media reports, you can't compare US dollars to rials. US dollar is actually worth 4c.
Also, contrary to reports that sanctions are affecting iran, they're not. Countries that want to buy their oil can apply for a 80 day excemtion from UN santions, so they can trade with the regieme.
The US is the only country that really supports the embargo.
