why do some of my plants grow faster than others>?

only problem is tho because the soil mix is so light if you fuck something like ph or dont water them enough the plants will take a tantrum but i find its better to have a light mix due to the amount of air that cant get into the roots

soil-less mixes are even more lighter than this mix and soil-less is meant to be amazing for growing

perlite Dosent act as a buffer for the plant so for instance if you where to pore a massive ammount of nutes the plant would take up the nutes asap instead of soil it will take it at its leisure

perlite is a poor growing medium unless your doing hempy buckets and that is a totally different kettle of fish


what lighting are you using?
 
we dont have that problem in the uk well we do but ares is greedy governmental fuck wits who think cannabis is Satan haha

but yeah if you look about you may find some ive herd a few on here mention craigslist or something what ever that maybe it seems cheep in the states haha

this is currently my scrog well it was till i got pissd off with the frame and pilled it out and just done LST then

i lost about 3oz+ due to bud rot and mold due to me not cleaning up after myself and just being a lazy stoner haha havent lost any weed since i where gloves and hover the room daily and clean where i touch
 
the best thing i can recommend is to experiment with growing try different ways different nutes only you can know what best for you like some people spend hundreds on nutes and soil and depending on what you want if you want personal smoke then you will get way more than a good 2 months off a 400w and 5 plants

i pulled just under 7 oz of mine in total dry and that is enough for me and my mates but some people load there plants up on everything under the sun and make huge plants and stuff but the wed tastes like shit because of all the chemicals i grow with basic cheep soil cheep nutes and i get my weed my way and everyone is there own mentor

erm yeah one is topped and LST one is just LST and the other in just topped just to see what one dose the best that how i find out the way i like

but if you want to be a real smart ass you can try doing something like this or get bored like i did

i topped it then LST it then choped all lower branches to make a halo shape hahaha but this 1 plant give me 7.2oz wet and 4.5 dry and has been my biggest yield of 1 plant so far
 
if your gonna go with fox farm soil go with happy from 2.0 cu ft for the same price as the 1.5 cu ft bag of ocean forest. little perilite (not MG perilite) and some espoma garden tone, espoma garden lime and some earthworm castings...mix that shit all up (only about 2-3 cups of lime ) and your gtg no need for any ferts for a while.
