Why do people buy seeds?

I get seeds in the weed I buy ($10/ a gram), what the difference between my seeds and the ones you guys pay $80 to buy?

People want the quality seeds and are willing to pay for them. Cloning makes your plants free. That seems to be the cheapest way to go.

ya man i definitely would rather buy seeds online, think about it.

1. most good bud doesn't have seeds.
2. the strains they sell are nothing short of amazing.
3. its fun to see what they disguise it in if youre in the U.S.
4. 95% of the seeds are always viable.

buying seeds is way better usually if a dealer has seeds its form hermies

People pay good money for seeds to buy "known" genetics. Personally I'm cheap, I wouldnt go over $50.00 bucks, but even still, using bag seed is just a crap shoot. For the money, you get to choose what you want, and as Mogie has already so graciously pointed out.....cloning is free. So you buy em once.....set it & forget it!

How can buying seeds be better then cloning. When clong your plants are always female. You don't have to buy any seeds. You just give your mother plant a haircut. Plus many strains can't be started from seed (last count was over 100). These are strains you can't get from seed companies.

props to mogie, that should pretty much say, buy whatever strains you want once and clone them all the time.

Well, all I'm hearing is you get to grow what strain you like, whatever strain my dealers selling is alright with me man. Weeds weed, all these names ect., are really confusing, am i the only stoner here who likes to keep things simple . P.S. I planted a few of the seeds I plucked out of my stash and they work fine. In a couple months, my dealer will be wondering why I don't call him anymore -- fun fun

It's simple seed bank seeds are high quality bud killer high bud not just stress seeds from ur stash. Is it just plain o stress or some good kush from a dealer ?>

We need to start an underground seed bank here in this damn country.
I would like to order from seedbanks but, I am just too damn noid.
There would have to be some serious covert actions taken for me to do that.
I mean we should have local seedbank & clone chapters.
Kind of like freemasons.
I wonder how hard it would be to get some hippies organized enough to where you could go to these festivals and buy seeds or clones.
Then they would have to be sanctioned by the pothead underground so we could know if the shit is good or not.

man, I'm on my first grow, and I just used a couple seeds out of a bag of really good bud I had, and thats fine since it's only my first grow, but I would definatly want to buy seeds next time, only cause I don't know what kind my babies are!! I wish I knew what kinda plants they were, cause my friends are gonna be like "what kinda bud is this?" and I'll say "it's a rare strain, called rickhighly420"... I don't know, it just sucks not knowing what kind of marijuana you are growing.
