Why Do My Plants Hate Me?!

So my plants have completed their 6th week of flowering and I am starting to get worried with how they are looking. Their leaves are turning yellow (which I know is typical at this stage in their life cycle) but they are becoming very brittle. I just fed them this past week with a mixture (w/ molasses) of 1500PPM/6.1pH. The plants are about 14 inches from the 1000w light I have on them, so I don't think its a matter of heat.

Could it be a matter of humidity? The buds themselves are not as fragrant as they were a week ago and the buds are not as sticky as I would expect them to be (first time grower btw.) The temperate in the room ranges from 65-85 and usually stays at 77 throughout the day. The humidity ranges from 28-44 and is currently at 31%.

The buds of the plants (sugar leaves) are also starting to turn slightly yellow and dry. The tops of some of the buds have become dry, lost their stickiness, and are no longer giving off an odor. I know that that is not a good sign, but am unsure of how I can revive these girls before I lose them... Please help!

Whats the temperature at the canopy level?

are you using nutrients? becuase molasses just feeds the bacteria in the soil so the plant can do better. but it doesnt feed the plant. you should get some flower nutes

to get a better reading of temp i would put it at the level the tops of the plants are at becuase cold air goes down which it looks like your thermometer is on the floor

my vote goes for heat stress, i have a 600 and i keep mine no closer than 18 inches and even i get it sometimes. look at those top leave and bud sets. none of the lower ones are affected (at least not nearly as much) only your buds nearest the light are, and the leaves are burning and cyrling up. as has been posted, you need your temp gauge at canopy level, heat rises man. put your hand under your light at the same height as your top bud during peak operating temp of the light. if its uncomfortable for you, its fuckin your tops up

I moved the thermometer and will check it in a little while to see what it reads. I'm feeding the plants Jack's Bloom Booster every 4 - 5 days, when the soil on the top gets dry and hard. I have a dimmable ballast, would it be wise to dial back in the lumens? If so, what should I do? 800? 600?

well lets make sure its heat stress before you do that. the nore light the better so if its not a major heat problem or can be solved by moving the light then you should do all those first, its always bestter to keep it atthe higher wattage unless your sure its doing damage

My vote goes for the "I bet you don't feed any veg nutes in flower"

Uh... Veg nutes during flowering?!?! I must have missed that tutorial... Once I switched to 12/12, I switched from Jacks 20/20/20 to Jacks 10/30/20. What have I done? Or should have been doing?

You're supposed to give them supplementary veg nutes to keep them nice and green,the greener they are the more efficient photosynthesis occurs and the more energy the plant has.

Most feed schedules don't pay attention to this, but it's essential to a proper garden.

You should be watering BEFORE the soil gets dry and hard!

Agreed! Keep it moist,not wet, that's the trick!

feeling the weight is alot better once you get used to it. If you have weak drainage..your top can be hard & dry, but bottom wet.. you can water & begin seeing over watering issues as I did in the past. It boggled my mind, I now avoid watering anything that feels cold/moist or looks dark and wet if I stick my pinky or index in the soil.

Any suggestions on how much veg nutes I should be feeding them?

I've been using Jack's Classic throughout my grow. Today I mixed a TBSP of molasses with 2 TSPs of all purpose and a TBSP of Bloom Booster, about 1600PPM/5.7pH. Will that do the trick or will I just have to wait and find out? I haven't been able to come across many pages online about mixing in veg nuts during flowering. Any advice would help...

maybe they think u hate them ?
have u tried sitting down with them and having a talk?
