Yeah, you could add some crushed dolomite lime to the soil to raise the ph...... Hmmm, about two table spoons per gallon of soil, am I right? Someone will correct me if'n I'm wrong.

Also I speculate that your soil could be too hot if the stem became flat, I think I read you right. But I can't give you a definite answer.

I am waiting on a PH UP and DOWN testing/regulating kit to arrive by mail... PH is without doubt a problem (that is in my case directly linked to the sh#@ soil used, I am also waiting for the delivery of a bag of Fox Farms Ocean.. soil) and temperature is also a very big problem for those plants... I need to get PH higher and temperature lower... Hmm air conditioning 24/7 seem the only way to go...
Flat stem = too hot ?

dont trust your ph meter take your soil put it in a cup. mix another cup with baking soda and water. pour the water into the soil and listen if it does nothing its ph 7. if it pops. it acidic. if you take dif soil and pour vinagor in it. and it pops its alkaline.

someone had said your soil might be too hot, means your soil might have too many ferts and/or out of range pH

Look bro, I really appreciate your help (you did help in your first reply in this thread) but I would appreciate you answer the question I asked and not one I didn't ... I have a PH meter (electronic) and I carefully checked the soil and it shows 5 to 5.5 in PH... My question is what would be the signs of a too acid soil ? Could they been similar to what happened to my little rock star ? ... If you really want to know what kind of soil is used, i uploaded the picture just for you "mygirls" (...) ... here but I have to say that personally, looking at the bag, hmmm I have no clue ! Maybe your thai is better than mine... go ahead bro... :

Please, I feel sooooooo bad, i put all my heart in trying to make them grow, I read hundreds of hours how to do online, got many equipment...
Everything was perfect for 1 week, then under the 400 watts metal hallide... and here is what i found an hour ago...

I live in a hot country (30 C all year long, tropical, humid), I used "seed up" soil (the best i could find here it seems neutral in PH but strangely, after i water I check the PH again and it s somewhere between 5 and 6 although I water with bottled mineral water)... It is my first grow indoor, I keep air conditioning on to maintain not over 25 degrees celcuis, didn t overwater (waited for soil to be dry), set up lights on 18/6 cycle... I am disgusted, please tell me what went wrong

here is your 1st ? you posted that i answerd. if you can't understand what i said then im sorry for you.. your 5 6 ph is not the problem. nothing wrong with that ph. its not that bad.. you were told what the problem was. good luck to you.. happy growing and i hope you can keep um green
