Let them go don't wana stress em anymore ....but at least you got knowledge for the next run ....I tell lots of people this because it's worked really well for me over the years ....start a grow journal it's always nice to refer back to ....I've done it for years and it's really nice to have if you fill it with useful info you learn or come across ....good luck

That brings up a good point...learning great cultivation methods by reading web pages and watching videos has a benefit. But, hands on experience cannot be substituted. Who can we learn better from...ourselves or someone else?

It's like anything else your trying to learn IMO ...if your serious about it do your homework and study ...people don't realize there's some very actual famous well known growers lurking around RIU that have put out great info on every aspect ........but books and videos are very helpful and learning one new thing each day as a new grower was my philosophy when I started my own gardens years ago ....I started my journal when I was still just a helper/trimmer in other peoples grows and I still add to my journal and refer to it regularly .......if I need an opinion on something I like to get information and answers from several sources before I apply it ......I've got grow records besides my journal for different strains starting from years back of everything I did from start to finish .....and I've helped lots of new growers and if someone's just starting out I like to tell teach them the most simple techniques and let them study and build from there .....but your absolutely rite we learn from ourselves .....just my take on it

I have repeatedly made one suggestion to newbies in most of my replies...read and learn and then apply what you read and learned to your grow. It is all about knowledge...whether from books, videos, web sites, or our own experience...it is all good.

I think we have different tubes on the same hookah my friend.

Unfortunately it's filled with more bad info than good.

Experience and reading from a reliable source is the best way for info. Forums have some great info but also a ton of bad info. I started heavily reading and experimenting since I was 16 years old. It took years of hard work, dedication, hard earned money, and help from friends of various trades to get my grow the way I wanted. I'm still always experimenting and trying different things here and there. You can never learn too much. I started off with an old Q&A online from High Times from Max Yields and Kyle Kushman but I can no longer find it anywhere.
