Why arent my seeds sprouting?

Ok, so I have a bubbleponics system that I made. I put 6 seeds in it like Roseman said you could do and just go for it. It's been over a week now and they're not sprouting. It's been over a week now. Also have 6 going in a paper towel method with a dark ceramic bowl over it. What gives? They just won't come out.

this is my 3rd grow. First 2 in an AeroGarden, third being in the bubbleponics.

Advice please! Help me!

P.S. Bagseed here. I'll order some good ones once I get the system down. they did okay before.

Could be that the seeds aren't viable due to a whole range of possible reasons, especially because they're bagseed. I found over 30 seeds in some medium weed and tried to start about 20 of them. Tried both methods (paper towel, cup of water) and even jiffy pots.. its been over a week now and I've only got 3 sprouts (healthy though!). I found the seeds definitely don't germinate if they're white, green or too small. The mature ones are brown/black, are larger than the others and you can see the pattern on the seeds shell when you look closely.

Even if you aren't going big on this grow it is worth investing a 5 pack of feminised seeds as germination rates will be a lot closer to 100%. My 5 pack of feminised seedsman white widow seeds cost me around $USD45 including shipping.

I got them through seedsman but not to the states.

Attitude ships to the U.S. and it takes about 7 to 10 days. Your seeds just probably are not viable as said above. Your product is only going to be as good as the seeds used in the begining. They are probably the most important thing next to light. Although sometimes you can get some good bag seeds. You just won't know the true genetics. Who really ever knows what is in that bag unless it comes from the grower themselves.

A friend of mine gave be a small zip-lock bag with seeds (like 20 of them). None sprouted. He told me they werew sitting in his night stand for years, so they were really old.

I bought seed from Attitude. They ship to the states with 7-10 days. MY first time doing that and I was worried. But it worked well. I ordered the t-shirt (for some reason) and used "420" as the discount code and saved a little $$$.

that could be a prob too seeds after a while go bad.and urs was like a couple years old? thats not good.i always do the damp toilet paper in my dresser droor..most of the time they sprout in a day sometimes 2. just make sure u look at the toilet paper everyday to make sure its wet....then whenthey sprout i put in soil like a quarter of an inch down in the soil and i put the seed side ways cuz the roots dont grow straight down so this way when they twist and turn i wont have to worry :0)
by doing these steps most of my plants sprout out the sould in 1 day or less sometimes :0)
