Why are there seeds in street weed?

I know this is probably going to be close to one of the dumbest questions ever asked, but it's been confusing me for a while now. Why is it that when you buy marijuana from someone, that it has seeds in it?

I though you had to pollinate a female to get seeds out of it and that it you pollinate it you kill that bud. Also, males don't produce bud. So how in the hell are seeds all in the bud?

I probably learned something wrong throughout my reading.

pollinated bud isnt destroyed. it jsut lowers the amount of THC and makes ur bud have seeds in it. The reason higher grade bud has no seeds is cause good growers dont let their females get pollinated. The low grade bud has seeds cause its grown by people (like mexicans) who dont care about having their shit get pollinated so they dont pull the males. Thus low grade has seeds, higher grade wont

you dont kill the bud, okay man, when a plant is just about done, it swells up and gets real fat buds on them, why you ask, the females one job is to produce seeds inside the bud, the males one job is to get that pollen out there to produce seeds for the female bud, so when a female is late in flowering it gets false pregnancy, it swells up gets real fat in anticipation of seeds, however if u pollinate with male pollen, the hairs will die and the bud will still swell up, except with seeds, guerilla growers keep all their male and female plants together because they have much to many plants to deal with and not enough hands to rip and male plants, so at the end of the season they leave all the males and only take females to sell, thats why theres seeds in street weed i rambled my bad

No, the weed is having non consensual intercourse!! It takes a male to pollinate a female unless there is a hermie which is BOTH.

Males don't produce bud but females do. The resin (THC) is pushed out onto the bud to get a floating pollen passing by to STICK to it so the female can produce seed (its number one job in life).
Females buds don't die when pollinated but they do reduce the amount of resin produced because....MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Most street weed is usually outdoor grown where pollination is MUCH more likely to occur. A big outdoor grow usually has lots of males which are not culled from the "herd" so seed gets produced, sometimes profusely.

Sensimilla (without seed) is a form of torture to the plant denying the plant its true goal, reproduction.

Not necessarily, he may be selling a great strain that will still get you high as hell. some folks (like me) make sure there are some seeds with the idea that the plant becomes more complete. Then again I don't sell since it fuels the man.

However, if you have a bag which is FULL of seed, yes, don't bother, but some seeds doesn't mean its crap.

I have no choice. I've bought from many people. Even a couple of the best dealers... Still had seeds. I had a few connections that linked me to getting some government weed. Still... Had seeds. Even people around here who have grown a few plants, who could have easily gotten rid of the males, had weed with seeds in it.

I live in Australia and it's been many many years since I found a seed in anything I bought.

Well, I've got one plant right now. It's a girl. About 3 weeks through flowering. No other plants. No risk of pollination. Maybe this will be the first time I will have tried goof quality.

Also, for the record, the government weed was the shit. At least compared to everything else I've smoked.
