Why are seeds so small from seed banks?

As long as the seeds arent pale green and soft shelled the only way to know is to grow them. Size, srtripes, and what not dont mean shit in my experience. Some of the "best" looking seeds turned out shitty plants and vice versa. I know one thing.....for the price they charge there needs to be more consistency in what they put on the market. What a seeds looks like as long as its mature doesnt mean much.

Depends on the strain/seed bank. If you order a lot of the same strains on crosses, that could explain it. But for an idea.

These are Cali cons Tahoe og:

These are my tahoe(clone only) selfed. Should like the same right?

Here's them next to each other.

And here are some seeds from advanced female seeds and feminized seeds that look a bit healthier than cc releases.

Not all breeders are equal.

But the seeds are if there all mature....until you germinate them.

No they dont. At all. And for the price of what seed companys charge they need to put a more consistent seed out on the market. Ive gotten seeds from the dame company several times. Such a lottery ticket. Shouldnt be such a buyer beware scratch off ticket for what they charge for seeds. But we keep buying them so they dont have to bring up the standards.

Huh? I would think with the general size of seeds overall that this is so inconsequential as to not even matter when shipping seeds. Whether its bulk or just a few.

Yeah this doesn't really make any sense. It would be a super negligible difference. Like micro/nano grams/meters on a package.

You know, there is always a chance GDBud was just foolin'....

Besides, I always thought the size of the seed is determined by the sex of the plant they came from.

Sin City Seeds do have some nice ones dont they? All 15 of every pack ive bought have germinated (6 packs). I get runts and stragglers from them but this is common and standard with every pack ive bought from any company or every batch ive made myself.

Ive averaged 6 to 10 females from every SCS pack ive gotten. And 2 to 3 keepers from them females. And picking one out those is really a bitch. Its kinda hard to pick the best out of the females in SCS gear. But this is a good thing in my opinion. Extra 5 seeds a pack really makes a difference i think. Better odds. If alot more companys threw that extra 5 seeds in there i bet you more satisfied customers would be the result. Good business practice on Sins part.

This never fails, every time i order seeds from top seed banks the seeds are really small. It doesnt matter if its an auto, photo, indica, sativa, or hybrid. The seeds i even make from the small seeds are even normal size. Dont get me wrong i never had a problem with germination but its just odd.
They send smaller seeds to places further away to save on shipping. It is very common in the industry.
