Ok so these specific plants are out of my vegging tent. The temp stays around 75 and the humidity around 50%. These vegging plants are under 2 125W cfls in 6400k. The flowering plants which all seem to be doing the same thing are under 1000w HPS bulbs with about the same temp and hum. As you can see especially in the second picture the middle of the leaves start turning a yellow like that spreading outwards. They eventually completly die and I mean alot of them do this. ANY IDEAS? thanks.

Not knowing if soil or hydro, I can only guess. My two best candidates are calcium deficiency/lockout and pH issues in the medium. cn

It is in soil. I will take a runoff sample right now and report right back for where its at. What is the exact range my ph should be? around 6?

they are in miricial grow moisture control soil and some are from 12/22 and some from 1/27 and they are both doing the same thing. They just get fed tap water for now and I have both mexican and jamacan bat guano ready if needed to top feed with.

I dont treat it in any way. I do have PH down on hand that I have never used as well as botanicares aquasheild. But again I have never used either.

I dont currently treat it with anything although I have ph down and botanicares Aquasheild on hand. It is northwest washington well water. Doesnt have any added anything from the well pump house either just strait out of the ground.

I honestly don't think it's an overfeed issue if you really haven't fed......
I started mine in MG moisture control with MG perlite mixed in, which has more time release nutes in it, and I never got a burn until I fucked it up myself, well into flower, actually only a few weeks ago.
Check out my link if you want, PM me if you have questions.

These are some leaves I pulled off my older flowering plants just now. This is how they ended up :/2013-02-23 20.36.01.jpg2013-02-23 20.36.11.jpg2013-02-23 20.36.19.jpg

Some of the leaves even turn a dark purple and get hard and almost crunchy? I really have never ran accross something this weird?

What would you suggest? I think they are going to die if I dont do something with them soon. They all seem to and yeild poorly.

That puts paid to my concern about sodium toxicity. Hardness worries me less; in soil hard water tends to be an asset and not a bug. cn
