Who's Using the pH Perfect Technology?

I know there are other posts about the pH Perfect nutrients that Advanced Nutrients has come out with but I really want to limit the scope here to people that have or are actually using these new nutes and what their experiences have been. I'm sure there's a lot more opinions about these nutes but I would appreciate it if those who have opinions but haven't actually used the nutrients would just refrain from posting.

So please, no "my buddy's cousin grows with it" or similar stuff. First-hand knowledge.

Also, please make sure you're actually using the pH Perfect version of the nutes. There's the regular stuff and the new stuff, and the labels are different. (The pH Perfect nutes say "pH Perfect Technology" on the label.)

I've been really impressed by how rock-solid it holds the pH and my plants are the happiest I've ever seen them. I just started my second grow with these nutes.

How is everyone else doing with them?

Im using them with tap water and using about 5ml of each sometimes alil lite with certain additves and what not.But it barly moves my ph so idk about all that shit sucks i use 6 to 7ml of ph down per gallon to go from 7.5 to 5.8 half time i leave it at 6ish cuz idk how much of GHs PH down is safe with everything else. I did have to buy sensi cal using straight coco

I kept telling myself I was the problem with the PH Peferfect sensi line, I got mediocre results at best. I switched to ALL DynaGro and my wallet and plants are AWESOME!

Funny thing is that the DynaGro is rock solid at PH so its like ph perfect. I love the stuff.

jimmy1life, a few things. First, the pH Perfect nutrients aren't guaranteed with coco (nothing is). Coco coir is just way too biologically active for anyone to be able to say what their nutrients will or won't do with it. There's a huge amount of variation in quality, cleanliness, and so on when it comes to coco. Some companies don't even rinse their coco before they package it so it's absolutely packed with sea salt. The nutes may work great with coco, they may not. There's no way to know until you try and AN doesn't guarantee it because coco is so "young" in terms of decomposition it's just way too variable.

Also, they don't guarantee it with unfiltered tap water. Again, too many variables. Different treatment facilities use different things to purify their water so it's impossible to guarantee how anything will react with unspecified tap water in terms of pH and such. If you use RO water they guarantee the pH stability thing. And really, everyone ought to use RO water. These aren't grandma's geraniums we're growing, we're aiming a bit higher than just not killing them.

ArabKush - if you want to start cheap and simple, do Jungle Juice. If you want to spend a little more and get the pH stability of the pH Perfect system I would recommend doing that and getting either the pH Perfect Sensi (a 2-part nutrient) or the pH Perfect GMB (3-part like Jungle Juice but better). Either way, don't get more than one or 2 additives. You don't need any, strictly speaking, and the first time you want to keep it simple and just be successful. After that adding more stuff, CO2, etc, is up to you but if you try to do too much too soon you'll get frustrated and a lot of newbies make that mistake and quit under the belief that it's "too complicated". It's only as complicated as you want to make it. People grow with a CFL bulb and Miracle Grow. They grow small plants that smoke poorly (IMHO) but if they're happy who cares?
