I didn’t read the whole thing but being married 35 years the correct answer is you are right

that’s  some of that wisdom you hear seniors have
She's a gf not a wife, so there's still a margin of error  lol!

Kidding aside, your bf should NOT be touching your plant like that. Having said that, you're both kind of right but you're MORE right simply because it's your plant; if you don't want leaves pulled, then your bf should keep his hands on his Rockstar and off of your plant, lol.

Truth is, plants will always make more leaves than they need, and, as it pertains to indoor growing, IMO it's a good idea to remove some of those. Too many overlapping leaves can be hiding spots for mildew or bugs if your airflow isn't on point.

Messing with someone's plant without asking? No bueno.
However, why not meet in the middle? I often clip off individual leaflets that cover branch tips. After a few days the the tips shoot up through the space but there's still some light-capturing surface that's intact.

For that little thing lol grab up a larutan light for cheap on Amazon and shove that thing in a little tent or box. I throw away trimmings larger than that lol.

Yea she’s lil growth stunted 12/12 from seed for 4 weeks then flipped back to veg..
I thought it looked like it was confused or re vegging. That thing does have a shit ton of leaves in the center. I would totally clear out some of the middle shit near the stem. It will help for airflow and those buds in the center won't be shit anyways.

Re vegs get crazy and it takes awhile for the plant to go back to normal. I took a cut at 3 weeks into flower to check out monster cropping and it was a slow crazy process to get it normal again. It also creates a way bushier plant. Yours probably won't take quite as long to return to normal though. The plant I took my cut was way more mature.
