As far as the distilled water goes, I actually just bought it last week after noticing the plant slowing in growth and looking sick. I was using fresh spring water from a mountain tap.

Update: after my morning rage last month, I ended up working it out with the 2 other plants that were sick lol. Took one of them 3weeks to fully bounce back.. I ended up top dressing some dolomite lime to get the pH of the soil up, also got some yucca extract that I been using just about every watering. Stopped using the distilled water as well. They are currently on day ten of flower. Top dressed some bloom amendments 3weeks ago then worm castings day of flip. Watered once with recharge too(yesterday). Plants are looking good so far

Your soil should buffer your ph automatically. I’d never ph pre buffer soil mediums which is usually pretty much all of em. That’s how you end up with toxic ph soup. I know that from experience.

distilled water is stripped of everything. That’s why you don’t wanna use it. It’s nothing. Tap water in some areas are very beneficial for the garden. Calcium content in mine leaves my cal mag unopened. My Promix containers. I water when the lower leaves wilt. Never had an overeating problem that way. Or coco. I love coco. Watering a schedule is so much easier.
