I've only met outdoor growers that breed for them self I never met an indoor grower that breeds their own but I've gotten some good outdoor seeds from a personal breeder the guy has been growing and breeding his own for years. not the best in the world but far from shit.

Not "breeding", but I am one hell of a beanmaker. I have a scrip vial (120 norcos) thats almost full of assorted pollinations between store bought beans. :hump:

There will be phenos galore however there will also be plenty of dank and many a keeper, maybe even a golden ticket or two

sounds like a great start to an elite clone only...

not smoking NOTHING but my own strains, yet, and am still testing new strains and planning crosses, but i did breed this super cali haze x cinderella gal on my first completed grow and as a tribute to it's sticky fruity haze taste and generic haze buzz, called it fruity booty. IT has joey weed's last remaining stock cindy apollo pollen in it for my first multiple cross that's 25% autoflowering haze and mostly cinderella with 12.5% genius

SCH x C99

Fruity Booty 1.0

the C99 x A11 cross i made with sweet haze should me much nicer unless the male i used was a putz. his C99 step grandfather wasn't shabby. the 2.0 cross should be 2x trippier and less of a generic functional haze. i REALLY want to try my second round of breeding with cindy apollo with jack's cleaner 2 and malawi gold too. that's the same cup that fruity booty's mom started out in BTW.

trying to find the most practical strains with the highest quality, pun intended, THC profiles and mix them up with other nice strains. i loved the flavor of sour cream but was underwhelmed by it's mid to stoney euphoric buzz and would hope that CxA would improve on the buzz without stomping out the effing sexy flavor.

it's really a treat being able to experience so many different strains even if old school highs are elusive, especially indoors, as there are so many personalities to the plant.

being able to pick and chose favored buzzes and flavors and re-combine them is just fun in both testing and doing and you know your gals are most happy when they have buns in the oven

everything that was female in this start was hit up with the already flowering cindy apollo i shook over everything.

i don't know how that wrong pic of the very start of the grow got attached or where it's hiding to delete it, but both of the C99 x A11s were males and the C99 female was a joey weed fruity cindy back cross. i think i selected this male for vigor where i chose for shortest stature with the original C99 male. maybe the "indica pheno" male was part of the reason for fruity booty being so sticky.

the sativa trans-love (i like to call it STL or seattle) fem should produce something really fast budding and reasonably fast flowering fruity haze type strain i'm expecting to be very productive, but DNA's sweet haze is much nicer for sure. it's the best $10 i've ever spent on weed outside of mid 80s grams of socal grown columbian gold sinse. seattle is a 10 week strain, but it looks like it's in a hurry as soon as you flip it and 8 week JW cindy should do something nice with that.

as much as people swear by sannies, they should be legit. their ordering is a little more involved i guess, but it's all top quality gear at reasonable to bargain prices. i have my eye on lemon thai, sannie's jack f7, columbian jamaican & the santa maria freebie if all three would ever be in stock at the same time.

yeah, i put off re-potting everything and was trying to rush the grow with a late february start. the fruity booty should have been in her 2 gallon.

instead of doing full plant pollination next time, i'm going to tent my holy smokes' malawi gold male, and maybe a couple other strains and do controlled breeding using a paintbrush so the plants aren't putting all of their energy into making seeds and most of the smoke is sinse of course. if i could get something close to an airtight seal around male breeders, i'd like to use familiar jack's cleaner 2 for it's nice 9 week flowering time and fun trippy buzz too and maybe another strain or two.

having a back stock of mutt genetics from each breeding session doesn't hurt.

seed hacking? OK. if that's what it's called, i'm a weedhacker. not everyone has the space or needs for large pools to select from. it's just screwin' around with the head stash, trying to find the best starter strains doesn't hurt either.
