Can someone explain to me exactly what "topping" is please. I have 6 peak 19 plants going since July 4th approaching a foot tall. Anyone?
Some people top their plants to make them grow shorter. The top of the plant has the most auxins in it which are essentially growth hormones. That part of the plant grows the fastest. The tops make the best clones for mothers. When people cause stress in any way to a plant they limit the growth potential. I would not top of plant unless you are making a mother. I would not cut any clones off of a mother until the plant is atleast a foot and a half or the stress with limit the growth to a stand still in many cases, for up to a month or more.

An excellent question regarding the topic of this thread. If you have any more feel free to ask. Ian is JMS a boys name?

Has anyone ever tried taking the fresh leaves and putting them in a blender on puree then drying out the sludge like a brown sheet? What do yall think would happen?

he/she... i'm not sure... doesn't matter either way

i didn't mean to come off sounding too harsh or anything
well... a bit, but more for comedic purposes...

i really do stress they read the growFAQ though
really
i'll stress it to anyone who hasn't read it yet... it is so very informative

and when somebody asks what topping is... its apparent they haven't read it

i'm not really knocking them... i didn't know about it for a while... but then!!! someone pointed it out to me:blsmoke:

and as for the leaves in the blender...

it'd smoke like dried leaves... cuz unles you plan on removing some of the green plant matter... it ain't gonna be much different...

now, if you dried the leaves first, then added some isopropyl alcohol to the mix... and strains though a reusable coffee filter... then!!!....
