I've just recently started mixing my soil and have had great success with this. I mix I bag fox farm ocean forest with 1 bag fox farm happy frog 3 cups perlite and 1 half bag coco core. I mist with a root booster while I'm mixing . this will fill 6 five gallon smart pots. What do u do I'm always looking for some new ideas.

1 truck load of manure fresh goat for me is best

1 truck of sawdust I order old stuff but new is on the top of the pile..

1 truck of grass/lawn clips from the local school (roundup free)

2 trucks of river sand

half truck of comfrey half a truck of nettles (or general weeds if none about)

all rotted down and well watered and used about a year later

the stink means I have to keep the house windows closed

I must look into that ,,,lol

I used to do similar and used earthworms. Once they moved on I ran it through my Kemp shredder/grinder. Growers would cream over it. Drop seeds in and water. Top dress with compost tea if needed.

Reuse by mixing back in with unused.

Indeed one year I caught my lawn clips guy and his 7 kids stealing all my worms for fishing

I let it go, hes poor as fook, also suffering severe worm poop leaking from my bags

was driving me crazy ...lol
Probably selling them to other po folks.
