Who here likes the Hyper Fans?

I'm just a few days away from ordering a 10" and an 8". The 10" for the carbon scrubber/air extraction. The 8" for fresh air intake into the room. I like the fact they are high CFM per watt along with the fact they have variable speed controllers. Any positive or negative input on these fans? Thanks.

I like them, I use an 8" to draw air in and filter an 8x16 room works great. The speed control is handy, draws a little higher wattage than they claim but is still way under other 8" fans.

I have a 10" sitting in a box brand new waiting to be used... But so far it looks to be by far the best of the 5-6 inline fans I've had to learn to love the noise of... This one looks/seems like its going to be a bit quieter.... I am still hating I cant get "vent pipe" in 10", I have to use actual "smoke" pipe which is quite a bit thicker and not as easy to work with and more expensive, but I'm running 90's and hard pipe so I gots to do it that way but I'll say I'm sold by only taking it out of the box and comparing it to the older school inline fans.. Kills the OG style inline fans by a long shot....

I know this is an older post but thought I'd weigh in.
I have the 6" Hyper fan. This thing is awesome. I'm running 600 watt HID in a 3x3. I have this fan turned down most of the way and my power consumption has dropped by close to 20%. The fan itself is silent, only sound it the air movement. Also comes with a 5 year warranty.

I'm glad you did cuz i am looking at the 6" now. So, which brand do you have? I'm finding them online for like $110 the cheapest brand and the Presh Hyper fan is about $170. See if you can find the link to the one you have. The quietness is what I'm after. It's going in a 32x32x63 tent.

Still 150 shipped to me from here for the 6". And it was plenty to exhaust my 600 watt HPS in my old 4'x4' tent.

I have one been on 24 hrs per day for 3 years now.

Paid about $140 shipped. Well worth the money.

I have mine turned way down in a 3x3 with a 600 HPS. Can't hear the fan at all, only the air movement. But you can hear the air moving. Sure there are lots of ways to muffle the air, I have no need.

I have a similar size room and I am looking to use 8" Hurricane to pull air outside and another to pull in 20 deg F or colder at night air in.

Do you find that yours cools things off? Thanks.
