Who here has experience building their own LED lights?

Id like to try building my own LED grow light and am looking to order the proper LEDs for the job. I know I need blue (about 460nm) and red (about 660nm) spectrum light, but but dont know exactly which LEDs are good and which ones to avoid when looking online to order.

For those who have built their own, which ones did you use or which ones would you suggest?
