Grew out a single seed handed to me one night in Alaska. Asked the guy from what but he had no idea, just that it was good and he just knew I could grow it out. I did. Indica for sure that smelled like rotting garbage as it matured. Made you gag but you wanted more, you know? Cut it, dried it and jarred it. Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum! Anyway my daughter went to sell a bit of it so her contact could have some personal and the first thing - what is it called? She told him "homegrown". He said he could sell it all in a heartbeat but he needed a name. She called and I told her "Juicy Fruit". Why not? He was thrilled and soon there were calls for Juicy Fruit.

But dont be confused about mexican brick weed, it may be shwag now but they actually use good genetics. The problem is the drying and curing process, they just cut the plants like thousands and stack them in big piles to dry in the sun, then when its fully dry with no mold problems they just compress that shit and make it into bricks. And turns out to be garbage, for the poor drying and curing process. But they actually use good genetics. If u get a hold of a seed and growed in the best conditions it will turn into some dank shit. Im talking out of experience. My first grow ever was from Mexican swag and turn out to be phsicodelic ass shit. Its just your growing styles. But they actually hold good genetics. They just dont dry and cure the right way. Why? Because its too much its almost million plants to dry

That shit is 33% female 33% male and 33% seeds. I doubt they cherry pick the strain. Stringy ass indigenous landrace junk sativa.

I'm sure you could grow it and get something better... but it's still hard to turn a crow into a nightingale.
