So I'm very interested in procuring these seeds, except all the local seed banks (aside from 1 store) are sold out. The store that has them in stock is charging nearly 4x the amount that they would normally go for locally or internationally for that matter. I don't mind paying extra for quality at all, but I don't like getting fucked...

So unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to order online. I'm looking at Attitude, because I've heard good things..

However there's so many different variations.

E.G. Flying Dutchmen, Greenhouse Seeds, Nirvana Seeds etc.

Does anyone have any experience with the different seed company WW strains? Looking for some feedback.

If I remember from a few years back - people were saying Greenhouse Seeds had a good WW.

Black widow from Mr nice is the definative Widow.
If you cant afford it Seedsman sells a good rep his regular even more so.

Black Widow? But that isn't the same as White Widow?

Mostly looking for seed advice on White Widow. "Sells a good rep" ?

It is Shanti changed the name when every seed company copied it.

Read the history of Widow anywhere they will tell you Shantibaba created it when working at greenhouse and sinse as taken all his mums with him so Greenhouse are selling knock offs.
In short GHS own White widow (the name) shantibaba owns the genetics (the things that create seeds)
Black Widow

A most infamous strain that since 1994 has won a number of awards, including the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995, and has acquired acclaim from most corners of the globe - rightly so. It has a pedigree of parentage that combines a Brazilian Sativa with a South Indian hybrid. Basically, it is the original parents of White Widow changing its colors like its company. Indoors 10 weeks of flowering will be necessary to realize the immense resin production. In the northern hemisphere expect harvest around September/October, having planted as late as June. However, there is a chance that rain could reduce the expected yield. A highly recommended strain for amateur breeders - the male being preferable.

Guys sit here and tell you the original breeder of WW is Shantibaba at Mr. Nice who simply renamed HIS strain Black Widow. Yet you persist. Want the frigging name or the real pot? Yeah White Label. That's the one. Buy them. Good luck. In more than this.

He is right, it should be noted though that the cannabis cup winner was the green house cut.
I ran a freebie from dinafem of the ww and it was a buster pheno. There is a ton of knock offs like hotrodharley is saying, many may not be worth your time.

that, large scale pheno hunting is what you will have to do! Why mr nice black widow comes with over 15
beans :) black widow is the real deal!

And all others are knock offs! True about green house win on a cup.... But if you have been in this game
for any real time you would know the cup is a sham! And theres way to many back door dealings :( and
most breeders wont even get involved with it.

Just stating the facts, I never put much stock in it other that look at the bud porn in htm before I got on the internet.
**just the same I think I would still like to go to the cup, may never get to if the conservatives have their way huh...

My BW is absolute dank. Pulled 550 grams off one plant rdwc. Under a 600 watt in a sealed room/co2. Not the tastiest but this stuff rips your head off. I usually pull around a 12 zip average so almost hitting the mythical gram per watt was a good moment for me. Flowered for 11 weeks

Dinafem White Widow isn't even remotely related to the Widow he is seeking. They even say the background is completely different. Might be good, I don't know, but it's not the same at all.

The cup winner was Shanti's cut. He and Neville were Greenhouse. Arjan has mostly bought seeds from others and resold them as his career. He used to buy them form Shanti/Neville. He's a marketing guru.

I have a few BW plants that have insane vigor. Would completely outgrow the room if I let them. I'm leaning towards them being male, but I hope one is a female...

I believe that for sure, I had only smoked WW (no idea of the source) once before and that thing that came from dynafem wasn't even in the ballpark of something good at all, straight to butter. I was NOT recommending that at all!! I wasn't recommending the GH either to be straight. I haven't tried the black widow but if I were going to look for a WW that would be the one.
