Hi guys

Its been a while since my last update on my first ever grow!

im about 4 weeks into flowering my First White Widow i planted. things seem to be looking good. but i do have a bit of a problem.

I invested in a 1200 x 1200 square tent and an air cooled light as i was having some serious heat issues. i even had to go out and buy an a/c unit! well anyway heres the problem... When the light goes off in the tent the humidity jumps up to around 60% could anyone tell me why this is?

anyway heres some pics and let me know how u think im getting on.

Flowering plants release moisture at night. Your air conditioner probably turns off at night or runs less, which would also increase the amount of humidity you have. You need to get that in check before you get bud mold. You can do that with a simple dehumidifier or an exhaust fan.

Are you turning off the fan when the lights go out? I moved my fan off the timer and it runs all the time. More exhaust = lower humidty.

i have a digital fan speedcontroller so it runs pretty much all the time. maybe at night when the temp drops the fans dont need to work as hard therefore are not getting rid of the moisture. im not sure if fan speed controller is set up properly? humidity should be at around 30% right?

looking good my friends - little small tho, how long did u VEG ? im in 12 days of flowering and my plants are almost treble that - ur plants look very healthy tho and i do like ur set-up

the white widow thats budding for 7 weeks. i vegged under 1 200 watt blue spec cfl and a 250 watt blue spec cfl. gona get a metal halide for next time. cheers man the buds smell really fruity and the other 3 white widows have pistils after day 2 of being in 12/12 the pineapple chunk has only a couple pistils but atleast i knw i got all females. all the plants other than the ww wqith buds were vegged for around 5 weeeks. im new to this so wasnt sure on how long to veg for didnt want to outgrow my tent! also how many plants you think i could veg then bud in my 1200x 1200 tent

how long you think i should veg for? i currently have
1x 200 watt blue cfl
1x 250 watt blue cfl

dou you think it would be worth investing in a metal halide for vegging. im using a 600 watt hps for flowering

30% is good for flower.
